Those who are visiting this site from having met me are probably 10% of the people that I met, being that I only had about 10 business cards on me. I hope you all made it home safe and enjoyed the day as much as I did. Thanks again for support my shirts and Peace in Iraq. And if you are a new comer to my page please leave me a comment saying hi. Thanks again... federico

My boy Shern that I traveled off to India with, who lives in Australia, is a film maker and he entered one of his dope films Darjeeling in the RMIT Student Film Festival not to long ago. Not thinking that he was going to win, he stayed home on the night of the award ceremony editing a music video. Shern recieves a call from a friend telling him that he won best Short Film. He didn't believe. After about a ten minute talk with his friend, who had to persuade him that he really had won, Shern finally believed! He won funding for his next production, a shine award and golden class season ticket to a great film theater in Melbourne (his city in Aussie country.) Big Ups to my man!! PEEP THE FILM ABOVE! (I finally got your film on youtube fooL! ha)
If you guys haven't been buy Franks Chop Shop (19 Essex Street, LES,) you should! Franks (which is classic barber shop) is the only place I know where you can pick up these amazing pocket-size magazines. Each issue is curated by a different person and has a whole new power-punched theme. The theme is this issue is pretty much the LA life-style, curated by Mr. Cartoon and Estevan Oriol. I highly recommend that you pick one up or holler at me I'll give you mine (when I'm finished with it... ha)
Last night, I was super tired but like always, I got stuck working on the computah. Finally I took a minute to look out the window, you know, check out the block and I saw a new friend of mine, T., standing on the corner. I met T. about two months ago when I took a pic of him off Knickerbocker (pic above.) He sells incense, cds and tapes. He had just gotten back from selling his stuff in Harlem. He told me that he had made a sad $43 dollars in the past two days and that he was ready to go home because he had not gotten any sleep in 48 hours. "I dont know where the money is anymore," he told me. As Ive began selling on the street, I definitely know what he's talking about. Its tough out here. Making $43 dollars in two days is rough. So I just wanted to give you guys another perspective of what goes out there, especially if your making big bucks, cant forget the others.
On Wednesday, August 15th I finally made my way out to Union Square to sell some of my tees! After learning how to lug all my stuff from BK to Manhattan I was a little tired, but somehow I got my act in gear and made some sales. Thanks for telling me that I was selling too for too low a price... yea maybe Five Bucks is too low. ha. Come find me at Union Sqaure or give me a shout right here...! Once again big ups to everyone.. please come and visit! - rico
Year 2007 has taken me to some extreme places. I feel blesses to have been able to get out and see so much! So far this year I have gone to India, Colombia and Canada. I told my buddy Neil today that Im not going anywhere for a good three months! IM STAYING IN NYCITY! (well I got to go home and check in on the fam every once and a while in VA.) But before I get to far ahead of myself I was to share some of the experiences I had while I was not in America the great... Click on that funny thing below that looks like a buncha pictures...cuz it is ;) My Colombia Trip!
Hello my fans... or those who are still there. I am back, finally! After a nice trip to the mother land, a wedding and a couple scuffles in Brooklyn against this warm weather. Well, I took off out of this country, because, 1) my cuz was going back to school in august 2) because of Eamonn's marriage with ms. Emily. BUT 3) Most importantly I left because I was not a winner (which is totally cool) of the HP's 35th Anniversary Calculator Video Competition. If I had won, I would have been flown to LA for the award ceremony, on July 15th! When I found out that I wasn't a winner I hopped a flight for Medellin! They told me that my video wasn't selected it did not have an HP Calculator in it. Sadly, the one I owned I lost, but still, I thought that that would make for an even more creative video. Here is a video that did win, and if you didn't see my video "Where Did Ya Go" just scroll down.
This is the video that I made for the HP Calculator Contest. It is simple, but effective and funny... ha.. brandon hooked it up! All I had to do was show how HP CALCULATORS have been a part of my life. In this film I show how... well you check it out. I filmed this whole thing using my small Sony Powershot 4.1 MegaPixel Camera and a little Final Cut Express.

I was talking to my homegirl Kristy tonight (Big Ups Krist!) She is like my sister... and whenever I talk to her she always puts me on a whole other level and helps me see through alot of the BS that we go through everyday. Tonight we were talking about our experiences working at Gunston Middle School and how I knew that Kristy was going to make a great teacher when she finishes up with her degree. During the conversation she mentioned this movie "Freedom Writers" and how it made an impact on her. I checked out the trailer and I can really feel this movie. I HAVENT SEEN IT YET, but I will soon. If you haven't seen it check the trailer,it looks good... thanks Kristy
So it was Shern's birthday about a month ago, yea I forgot, but you know I still got love for my brother. Had to keep it NYC to the fullest.. and he told me he wanted one. So I copped him the fresh White gold on Yellow piece. (you know you want one) Second, this is a ring from some club somebody hit me on off facebook.com. The "FRUM CLUB." Hey, Im down! ha Peep this ring that somebody had made... not bad huh?
These are some of the latest Tee's Ive done. They are for Zaragoza Boxing Gym off the Myrtle Broadways stop on the J train. The owner, Wilson, and I have become good friends and were tryna work together to help promote his gym and my designs. Its kind of a low-key design, but there are better and badder to come!
